More Gimme Shelter stuff for you…The (sympathy) for the Devil is in the details. While in Paris for the Palais des Sports show (video below is from that time) during the 1970 Rolling Stones Euro Tour, I was visited by the Maysles at the George V Hotel. They were finishing the film and wanted Glyn Johns to do the music mix. David Maysles left a note to me with a note to give to Mick and Keith, having me pick the right time to give it to them.
